Substrate: sand and pebbles
Hardscape: Wood and rocks
Lighting: under 1WPG
Tank: 2.5ft
Plants: Java fern, anubias, val & crypts
Fish: Neons, male guppies, cories, redtail black shark, peppermint bristlenose, & riffle shrimp
Parameters: Don't test

How do your crypts and vals do in less than 1wpg? I don't have the best success with those 2 plants in low lighting.
The tank looks good.

Excellent, the val is like a weed (very fast grower)! The crypts reach 2ft+ (slowly of course)

No...i dont use CO2 :) No fertz in this tank either at this stage
