outside of tank

There is a white crusty hardness taking over my fresh water tank. What is it? How do I get rid of it?

Could be a few things. Hard water maybe you add salt?

on the outside of tank,?thats something ive never seen.ive had it inside of lid but never outside the tank...post a pic if u can

calcium deposits...possibly the water ran down the side and was not cleaned up.

it's no big concern, just wash/scrub it off...won't hurt the fish
