HOB filter or powerhead for circulation?
So i have an extra HOB filter, Marineland 200 and was thinking either taking the filter cartridge out of it and using it just for extra water circulation or returning it and using that money to buy a power head? any ideas?

a power head would be the best way to increase the water flow rate and will also alow u to be able to allow u to put flow in what ever direction u want but if u dont want to spend the money a HOB filter its gone do the same might not move as much water and or in the drection u want but will circulate it more but it all depends on what type of fish u have and if they can handle a stronger current hope this helps
