I just bought 2 heads of yellow polpys, I put them in and they both open. Then one just closed its self and its kinda ripping itself. The other ones is just fine open almost fully. It just started but I dont know why its closed then. I tried to move the powerhead but the tank is too small and nothing I do changes it. I have 2 so I dont think its a water problem, I also got it tested at the store, pH - 0.01

i'd give it a day and see what happens. Might just be settling in. What is pH -.01? is that 8.2? Got any pics of it splitting. It is normal for them to close but i don't know about split. They aren't the type of polyps that split to reproduce. I think they roll along like carpet or like green star polyps.

ehh.....depends on water quality available nutrients and lighting. Id say two to three weeks if all goes well.

well its just a stubble that is growing off if it..... well I mean the little mat. lol
