Photograph Quality
I must state straight away that i am a novice when it comes to photography but would like to ask other RATEMYFISHTANK users if you think the quality of the 'photo' is as important as the beauty of the tank itself. So many tanks in my opinion lose votes because the user has not captured the tank in its best light. Most digital cameras or even mobile phones have good 'scene selection' and flash/capture settings and trial and error should eventually show your tank off the way it sits,A few tanks are photographed and it looks like the lighting is switched off when in actual fact it is on,which shows drab coloured tank furniture and fishes. Is the true capture that important?

Agreed. I see a lot of tank pictures taken from the other side of the room. I don't care about their carpet and most of the time, I don't care to see their stand. Their are a lot of outdated pics too. Do they ever do any housecleaning around here? Maybe they should be deleted after a year.
