Looks like diatom's to me. they gas off most of the time they are in the tank and cause little bubbles. Lets put it this way........throw a few snails in there..........if they eat it.......its diatoms and part of your cycle.......if they dont eat it.......then its bubble algae. I cant tell from the pic.

eh ill put my bottom dollar its just bubbles from the tank. I had microbubbles everywhere when i first set mine up, which is what stage youre in, i see no pic so im jus goin off of what im reading. Like if i turn my koralia on when im doin a water change, and the top of it can suck in air, i sware a billion bubbles are in my tank, takes a day or so to get um all out, if it is microbubbles theres just some chemical attractoin between what ever it is and O2 that they would rather attach to that instead of other things in the tank, but hten again never rule out diatom or bubble algae as the other guys said.

Sounds like just part of the cycling process. Do weekly 1 gallon water changes and give it 4-8 weeks. Your tank will be cycling for a little while. I have a 12 gallon cycling right now and it's in week 7. I also have a 95 gallon and 24 gallon established reefs.. It's a fun hobby, but it takes some patience

Diatom Algae with microbubbles, and bubbles from substrate working their way out.
All part of the cycle, dont panic yet

So yeah, if you post something half way interesting, most likely we will reply...... We'd like to see pics of your entire tank in general as well
