i saw one of those electric scallops today at the local LFS here - -really cool looking little creature - - i'm going to try to find one online - -NOT buying from them again other than supplies

be careful, scalopes should be in kept pairs. i have gone through a few of them myself, they dont do good by themselves. my LS guy has a pair and they cling to each other, like a bond. just me 2 cents

ya, thats what im talking bout. i'v been noticing them more and more. i just cant find anyone that has a successful salt one. i wanna know how it would do in a salt tank. i have the knowledge to get it done, but i wanna know how could it effect my tank if done. if anyones got info on it in salt let me know, heres the vid

Hey Boss,
Watch out with those scallops if you decide to do aquascaping in your tank. Make sure that the rocks are tighten to each other one way or another. When I put my first flame scallop into my tank, the little bastard clapped one of my rock off the top. It was about a 2.5 lbs of rock, and it landed abot quarter of an inch from my glass. I was right at the spot when he did it. Strong little creature that's for sure. I do pretty strong aquascaping ever since.
