Hello all, I am very new to this fish tank thing! I have six tiger barbs, three male, three female. The female barbs, I think are ready to drop their eggs. How will I know when they are ready to do so, what do the eggs look like and how long does the process tank. I would also like to know what end the eggs come out of, do the barbs spit them our or do they come out of the other end.

I am sorry, but I am a total novice in the fish tank arena! Thanks for any help that you can give me!

No-one's responded, so I'll say something. I don't know anything about the breeding behavior/mechanics of barbs. I'd google it.
