actinics on at 7am off at 10 noon on at 5 pm off at 10 pm

10K's on at 8 am off at 10 am - -on at 530 pm off at 9 pm

only the second day so no tellin yet .................its a fish only tank, so they dont need 12-14 hours of 10k light ...............hell corals only need 4-6 of good halide or halide quality light per day much more than that and your paying A LOT of money for coraline

I know.......im worried about when I switch my tanks.......im going from 300watts VHO to 300 watts Halide.....hmmm....can you say MAJOR algae blooms.

as of tonight my clowns are happy as hell, still have nasarious snails and 5 lil algae hermits {not that their doing their jobs, must be some sort of hermit union, or NY state hermit senate i dont know about, lol}

i left the tank completely alone for 2 days and let everything get back down to business, i fed last night and everything got eaten, temp and paramiters seem right on and i dosed magnesium {doseing every 3rd day now} all in all it seems ok, in a week or so ill know if the algae is coming back, i still have some on the sand and in the finest of the rock cracks, i didnt disturb the sand much other than pulling the rock out , im going to do another 25% water change at the end of the week ...................so we will see...............thanks for askin guys, it means alot
