Look closley and youcan see little clear milky white eggs all over the rock

wow man !!! no idea what they need as fry but your the first other than clowns that ive heard of spawning in tanks...................sweet

Congrates, Mate..The chromis will try to protect the babbies, Not sure what type of fish you have in the MD? you could try to capture them, and place em in a tank with a airstone , feed enriched rotifers and copepods/Artimia . Good luck! But now they have spawned they will do it again,you'll get a second chance ;) My lfs has a mated pair but he never raises them the larva is eaten by the other fish within a month..

the male is so protective, he is giving all the other fish a flogging if they swim to close. I am going to rename him DR JECKLE AND MR HIDE cause he was a nice docile schooling fish with not a care, and then turned into a raging physco. HAHAHA.
I have done some research and it says that they are very similar in breeding habits to the clowns.
Any where from 3 -7 days the eggs will hatch, usually 2 hours after lights out. once they do, they say to gather the fry by using a torch to draw them to the light. scoop them out to a raising tank, feeding them rotifers and finally brine when bigger.
