Pimp some dude told me it was a maxima but another dude said it was a Blue Squamosa,??? anyone. blue they say it dont matter in the sand or on the rock, either way its happy there. was talking to a clam dude he said its healthy cause it has a nice white growth line round the under side of the mantle, where it meets the shell.

NIce PUff, It looks like a squamosa. I have two Maxima's and a Crocea. They are actually pretty easy to keep and awesome to look at. I've noticed a huge difference since I moved from T-5's to MH's. All the clams need is light and phyto every few days and they're good. However, you have to look out for certain fish like Blenny's because the little shits will bite their mantles and kill them. My Blenny almost killed my Crocea and I had to move the clam to the sand. The blenny disappeared afew weeks later. Think he got eaten by my bubble tip... Karma I guess.
