DIY Coraline algae glass scraper

I was trying to invent a way of cleaning the glass real good with out getting wet. I came up with the idea seen in below pic, but then found a product already invented, DAMN there goes my MILLIONS. any way here is a way of converting your old magnet scraper to work the same.
1. bend a bit of metal to approx 45 degrees
2. glue a stanley blade to it then fit the to the magnet cleaner.
cable tie it on.
put in tank and start cleaning. gets rid of hard to get areas algea and gets right up close to silicone edges. works on the sides front back of tank etc.
no getting your hands wet, then when done chuck blade away.

for a few moments it wont hurt. I use a metal paint scrapper to get the corraline off..........I will be using puffs model now. Blades are cheap and disposable.

I dont like it, i have sand for substrate, i use a hand paint scraper also, i have to take the blade off the glass , and swish it around to get the coraline/sand/paticulates off the blade, to prevent scratches, with it fixed like that i think it could cause problem..?

How do you keep your paint scraper from rusting? Im on my third one.....

yeah you don't leave it in for periods of time, just take it out when done. Hey pimp, i thought the same thing about scratches, but nothing gets behind the blade to scratch cause of the angle of the blade. u can go in to substrate come back out do 180 degree turn with it and substrate falls off. The best thing no wet hands, and also what the blade misses, the magnet brush gets.
TRY IT OUT will take u 5 mins to make and will amaze u.

man, your model looks just like the manufactured one. good job on thinking that up. too bad its already invented... if you tweak it some how you might be able to patent it and sell it lol.

i use a stanley plastic scraper with a acrylic rod, i will take pictures in a little bit.
How long have you used this scraper for Puffed ?

just invented it the other day. just add the new blade and put it in, no wet arms and clean glass right up the the silicon edges.
