Srsly, I am going to bug out...
This cloudy water is driving me crazy..
I have been having this issue for a little over a month now.Every time i do a water change it gets cloudy for days, I never slack on maitnence....NEVER.. in the 65 i did 10 gallon changes weekly..in the 34 i do 5, always R/O heavily areated with a Koralia #4 the PH 8.2 and the Temp is 80..
My water checks out 0s down the board..calcium 420, alkilinity, i dont know the exact numbers , RED SEA TEST KITS suck, it says its good but no solid numbers to go by..
I was thinking bacteria....But why the cloudines after the water change ? and over a month ?
i am going to have a local reefer test my water with his kits to see if mine are incorrect..Thinking it could be Calcium percipatation..( i hope)
Any thoughts...before i go crazy would be great. This shits got the pimp all fucked up..
Umm,....I need help.

swp,just troubleshooting.
have u check to see if the fresh salt mix u are adding to the tank cloudy? u mentioned possible Ca percipatation, that in most cases only happens if there is a high source of Ca and since the cliudiness happens only when you do water changes,my guess will be the cause is most likely from the new salt mix.

PIMP DOWN PIMPDOWN !!!!!!!
also - -switch your RO source - - -im learning a lot on water treatment haveing spent 2200 bucks on water systems in the new house because of bad sulfur in my well................some things are solids and easily filtered out, some things are molecular and have to be "ripped" out of the water { in my system a fourced air venturi type system caled an Iron breaker because hydrogen sulfide moecules bond with iron molecules} - - -so in essence you could be getting great RO filtered water but when you add salt mix and aerate it with a monster power head you could be ripping something out of it causeing the cludyness - - -maybe premix it longer with a smaller pump? - - -we all know how you like to over pump, overpressure, over move water ....hehehehehe, good luck bud
ps - all moved in man, tank move was a bitch but everyone survived

guys......... i would jus like to put this thought in...... with my remora ive had to problems, the first being i coudlnt find a good clamp besides a zip tie to clamp the hose iwth on my mag drive and i talked to AquaC...... they have THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE....... this guy is at work and emailing me constantly about FAQ's, reef tank stuff, experience PLUS he sent me FREE clamps, which im sure arent that expensive but i know other companies would have charged for...... and yseterday i talked to him and my mag drive is running a little too strong so hes goign to send me a valve to tone it down........ these guys have BY FAR the best customer service i have ever delt with...... really cool guys.......
