Hooked it up. ITS SWEET! everyone that said its too much is crazy. My corals are coming out like never before. its a nice wave action inside and my corals featherdusters and fish are enjoying the hell out of it. directions change every 6-8 seconds and its perfect. my tankmates finally look happy. Wish I could video tape it......it was completly worth it!

Sorry I just read the box for the maxijet mod and it says it turns the maxijet 400 into 1600 gph.

yeah I heard its pretty insane. lfs has one in the frag with two of those super powerful mag drives. pushes the water under the frag rack its pretty sweet. That maxi jet mod is pretty nice from what I have seen of it.

I think it might be too much power for my tank. It's blowing the little tube worms like crazy. Can too much water current be bad for coraline or your tank?

No, coraline and tube worms will be fine,strong flow wil make the coraline spread faster, if its blowing your sand around it might cause problems but other then that strong flow is recomended...

Okay, because the coraline is like coming off the rocks. almost like it is disintegrating off of the rocks. I used the purple up he gave me to kind of promote growth. What do you think?
