Sounds lame......
But I just bought a pretty nice microscope from the 50's. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how I could use it for advancing myself in the hobby? I bought it to do scrapes on algae, bacteria cultures, fish poo, brine shrimp, maybe a coral polyp scraping. Anything would be helpful....Im just trying to better myself. I have started keeping a log of what I do and the effects.

you could do small frags and view them under the microscope. however, it would probably look way cooler with one of those high tech fancy schmanzy digital electron microscopes.
You could also setup a small tank to breed diseases in, and find the best methods of treatment. Like a 10 gallon, with some damsel, and stress them into contracting diseases.
