I need some suggestions and comments! ihave a 5ft.L x 2ft.H x 1ft.W customized tank. I have currently 3 T8 bulbs and onlt 2 of them are lighted at a time, they are colored pink blue and white.
Question - do you guys think that 2 36watts are sufficient for my tank. Im from Manila, and we have an average of 27-29 deg. here no need for heaters but im thinking of a small chiller. Can I have some corals with this kind of set-up
Thanks!

I would have to say no.. Thats a ddep tank and that amount of light wont do a thing. that is a 75 gallon tank.. You would need at least 300 watts of light to have corals thrive in that depth of tank. 200 watts may get you by for mushroom and maybe low light corals but i wouldnt try it.. i already tried 2 watts per gallon when i started and it didnt work out well.. i lost half of my corals before i upgraded my lights. it was an expensive lesson.

im running 130 watts of power compacts and 95 watts of High Out put flourescent for a total of 226 watts on my 55 gallon tank. thats 4.10 watts per gallon. but the highoutput are very powerful and have a high par and lumens per watt. higher then metal halide so its more like 6 watts per gallon.
