framing started monday................deck is on........walls are up, now we're on hold waiting for the trusses.................man they are moving fast, if the trusses were here they would have it completely framed and sheeted in 6 days
i still have to pour the basement floor, but the cold messed me up so now we are going to pour it through the windows {aught to be interesting}
thats what i get for building a house in NY in January ..........lol .but we are moveing forward everyday !!!!!!!
hopeing to be working on the new tank framing by mid february - the tank room in the basement is almost done

it is amazing how fast they can build a house now my fiancees parents just built a new house and it seems like it went up overnight.......

yeah ..............my framer {a freind of mine} did tell me today though ...........that this was the fastest part of the job.................from here out it will drag on and on it will seem - - -im doing the finish work myself, plumbing, electrical,sheetrock, cabinetry and actually the framing and windows on the old part of the house etc etc etc

Hey we built our house too, are you the GC? It does go pretty fast once the tresses are up. The work doesn't though. It's been 9 years and though it's mostly land related, I am already looking forward to building MY shed, the her place. Plan is for 22 x 16 with loft. Enough room for my toys, and hobby stuff. I can't wait to see a pic of your tank

yes im the GC ...............well actually my wife is but he lets me wear the boots on site, lol ...........i own a light excavation/landscape company so i did all the digging, i was a construction forman out west for 14 years building gas stations and propane facilities as well as an electronics technician for the pumps, registers, network system etc ....................so i will be doing all the electrical and plumbing on the house myself as well .................not a roofer though ............lol my fat ass stays on the ground unless im on a sled .hehehehehe
