I used to own a vet clinic. There are a *few* good reasons to crop ears and tails, but that is only for working dogs who actually work (not for looks or for fighting dogs), and they are anesthetized when it is done. Dogs in strollers and in sweaters are in no pain, they are not submerged underwater for fun. I don't care how you look at it. Removing a fish from its natural breathing habitat to measure or weigh it for fun is cruel.
And my dog has a sweater, but that is because he is very cold natured and doesn't have an adequate coat and it occasionally drops to unnaturally cold temps in San Diego.
Keep your f*cking fish in water.
Nah.

WTF IS THIS???

looks at the judges...
nope sorry...
that is not the answer we are looking for... better look next time...
anyways... it's like the collectors out in the wild using cyanide to catch reef fish... how do you think they capture fish out in the wild...? if you have to tear apart an enclosed reef at home to pull out a freaken blue damsel, how does the catcher do it...?????
cyanide... that's right... that's why alot of delicate fish like butterflyfish and some juvenile angelfish end up dieing in our tanks... taking a fish out of water to take a picture isn't as bad as how they are treated before they hit our aquariums... have you seen when petco and other LFS get thier shipments of fish...? 30 black moors in a 10g bag isn't very humane right...??
