ok so im losing hte "hot water changes" and i bought a 96 quart rubbermaid, a cheap power head, im putting in my heater from my other tank and so i will hvae some premixed water.. idk if this is just really stupid or what but would it b beneficial to put live sand/ rock and some chateo or whatever yall talk about in there too, i kept my pinkish purple light too to put on it. Thoughts??

not necessary. there is nothing in there that can continue to get worse. whats in there will stay the time. dont even put light on it, if there is something in there then it will all die off in the dark.
water circulation and temp is all u need

Nope, there isn't any phos or nitrates in the salt your putting in there. I would just use the sand, LR, and lighting for a refugium.
