Hey guys! My computer is dead and I'm at the library on one of theirs. I see the forum is still the same as it was months ago. My fish are all doing well except for tetras in my smaller co2 planted tank. I guess the pH was too high. I've been doing OK but probably won't be on this site very much because of the dead computer. My son may come on here at some point because he has his own planted tank and he's into doing all the water tests and stuff. I'll get back here more soon. Peter
PS Sorry I never sent the plants a1k8t3. I've been hibernating.

Cropping a dog ears can sometimes serve a purpose, yet mostly it is used for cosmetic purposes for the owner/breeder. It creates discomfort for the animal just like taking a fish out of water. For dogs although sometimes it is accepted as a standrad in breed by the AKC. Yet your on a fish forum and you expect people to condone taking fish out of water to measure and weigh them? And then you compare it to a feature on dogs as cropping ears which any way you split is is arbitrary. You mention you crop your Pit Bull Puppy ears... Pit Bulls are not a breed recognized by the AKC so they have No standard and therefore no cropping necessary unless the owner wants it for cosmetic value. Next time ask the fish or your dogs which they prefer and with your crazy logic you might just here them respond.
