i bought 3 and lost one like i said a year ago........and it's seldom that MO and amilia get more than 5 inches from each other and they are not a mated pair - - -i think if you get em young they'll naturally stick together

humm.... mkk.. my lfs always has some pretty small clowns, often in multiple tanks, they would stand a good chance of sticking together if i picked htem out of the same tank right? Equipment wise, is it safe to say i can start on getting fish by now, or do i need to get the skimmer, light, etc... , levels are fine, exept ph ill prolly check that again

you don't need a skimmer for a couple fish...............they help clean the protien suspended in the water and other micro crap that a filter misses .........fish don't need intense lighting - - my buddy is lighting an 8 foot 300 gallon tank with 3 single bulb 24 inch t-5 floresents and has for 4 years now ......the white lights {10,000Kelvin} really make the color of the fish POP though but no it's not needed

go buy some fish get soe clowns or chromis. Anemonies are easyyyyyIMO the do move around a bit till they find an area they like. ONCE SETTled they stay put. just dont try to put them were u want cause you want get them to stay there.
If you buy clowns buy ones already established to ahost anemone, and buy it as well. Saves the drama

as you search for nems................make sure you read up on them..........some, like carpets are almost as involved as corals with lightingand feeding others like Puff says are just happy when they find their little niche.........

carpets can get into 100's of dollars and bubbles can go for as little as 10 bucks - - -they are extemely varied species

i love the hunt.....lol

Good luck bud
