k i am now openly stating that im going to steal bosss funny looking truck thing and then put schiaras set up in the back of it

I can't tell if you have a valve on your return line or not. If you don't you could put a valve after the pump going to your tank and then close the valve just enough so the water level in your pump area stays above the top of your pump. My guess is your pump is pushing more water out than what is coming in. Some people say you should not restrict your pump for fear of burning it out so if you want you could put a "T" in the return line and have one line go to your main tank and the other empty back into your sump and put the valve on the line going to your sump and regulate the amout of water going into your main tank with that valve.

I can't believe I didn't think of that I use to do apple orchard irrigation for a living. I think i'll just install a small ball-valve, and restrict the return flow a little.

i think he's talking about my new LCF - - -she's my baby, i cut the bed sides down 14 inches so my excavtor will reach over, custom 5 inch straight exhaust {no muffler} and a bumpin stereo {clarion comp head, sony 600watt amp and a blaupunkt 12 inch sub} custom modified plow frame for the Boss pro vee plow and a 3 yard gas powered sander for the bed

thanks Shig...............i got rid of a 550 and a 250 to get that,,,,,,,,,,,,,and i love it 1200 miles on a fill up is nice {twin 30 gallon tanks}
but still burning less than half of what i was pumpin through the other two trucks
