How big is it? does it open up? Are you sure it wasent there when you got the rock and its just part of it? But hey I hope it is I just got my first clam a week ago and I love it

No it wasnt there like that when i bought it. it had the lump there but the clam like edge has formed over time, and if you look closely, you can see like this blue stuff like on a clam. its slightly smaller than a golf ball

sounds like your clam is pretty freakin happy in your tank. or else he wouldnt be incrusting himself into your rock....DAMN your lucky.......or good...Take your pic. :)
