HOW TO SET UP THIS SKIMMER ??

I hav bought this Protein Skimmer, The guy at the shop said its the best for Nano Tanks
but I dunno how to make it work i have no idea what to do, Its TS-680 Cataract protein skimmer

It looks like a tricky Hang on the back skimmer. But it might be easier to put in the sump if you have one. I would search for what kinda pump it needs and go from there....I have never heard of this thing.

from the picture, there is a little right angle down pipe (only a few inch's long) you need a sump pump attached to this via some relevant tubing. the pump, once attached should sit in your tank/sump and the skimmer simply hangs in the side of your tank/sump somewhere. once you turn the pump on the skimmer will take over. i suggest that everyday, you stop the skimmer and clean the top section, ( you'll be amazed how dirty it gets) do keep it clean though as it will work more efficiently

on the base of the cup there seems to be a port to hook some tubing to and run into a jug, to catch skimate

well spotted.the top cup looks like a smaller version of mine, if the crap cup comes off the top without that port boss may have cracked it!

thanks, i jus used my super secret G-14 classified decoder ring i got for 6 captian crunch box tops plus 19.95 shipping and handleing to figure it out..................LMAO
