Is there any problem if i cure my live rock using ROCK SALT as mixture in water ??
but its only for Curing purpose, while setting up the tank, i will use SEA WATER only !

to be all technical.......
it will just kill your rock and everything in it.....There are large traces of metal such as copper......that will just destroy any marine life that you ever put in it. You will just be chasing your tail with your whole aquarium for as long as you have it. Just put some regular salt mix in there. Buy something cheap....just not rock salt. Get some instant ocean or something. Once I get my RO unit up.......im going to start using premium salts.......but right now im using the instant ocean.....and it works fine. and its cheap.

No Rock Salt absolutly not rock salt is for disovling ice on you're driveway, and walkway only not for aquaculture.

waa..thanks alot for the tip ppl.. i wil buy a instant ocean mix now and shift the live rock to it !
