eels are pretty reclusive in the wild, they are stalker hunters, so you have to figure out a way that where ever he is "hiding" is able to be seen by you clear tubing, an acrylic box with some rock on top of it so you can see him under the rock? something like that, he has to feel safe and protected from preditors and hidin from "prey"........other wise , he'll be around come feeding time, have his messages ready for him to pick up then, lol

k got my peppermint shimp today....... it will be 2:30 central time when i put him in, lets see how long he stays alive...... another question is diatom good or bad im getting alot

k so nitrates are zero, ph is low at 7.8, water temp of 76, salinity of 1.022, nitrites at 0, ammonia is at .4 and Sigfried is still alive it has now been 23 minutes :)

diatom - - is a normal progression in a tanks cycle, it's not bad......but not good either, it should clear up in a few days to a couple weeks or more, cut your white lights back as far as you can deal with, get a turkey baster, put some clear tubing on te end of it and blow everythin off a couple times a day or when you have time each day

good luck with the pepper, he should be eating his ass off as soon as he's comfy

Yeah buddy, will as soon as i get my camera back from my mother in law. Went home in the wrong bag the other nite. Cant even take one on my phone. Relised that nokias cant swim as good as me.
