since i put the filter pads in the sump there realy isent to much noise coming from the sump. and the doors will be put on as soon as i git it all plumed the way i want it the retern pipe will be pvc and i need to add check valves to it. the olny real noise is coming from the overflow box. the overflow pipe dosent gargol or make any werd noises. and thank you for the compliment the stand was hand bilt by me. i dont think it gargols any because you can see in the one pick the overflow lets almost 6 inches of water build up in it befor it stabolizes probly preventing the air pocket to gargol. or i could be talking out my butt again lol.

that is an awsome idea! i will build one this afternoon and post my resalts and it dosent have to be glued so ez removel and install. man i dont know were you find this stuff but thanks:)

i just put i pipe in the tank and it works awsome took almost 50% of the noise away thanks alot insted of niagara falls it sound like a small stream. a nise ambeint noise for my house. thanks alot for the help when i git it all put together ill post some pics.

good to here, my sump makes zero noise, the only noise i can here now are , fans on my light and my mag drive 950..,whitch is cocked to the side, causing a vibration an the sump glass, i need to find a sponge or somthing to put under the pump to stop it..

ok put salt into the tank tonight and o my god all the filters started up and the crap that is being pulled out of the water. it is desucting. my coten bag is terning black and withen 15 minits the protien skimmer is already pulling crap out of the tank it is amazing how fast salt pushes all the crap and garbig out of itself.

and here is the finished sand wating for gravel. pluse i thought id show how bad this hobbey will git lol there is a snake cage that you cant see and i have a 55 set up at my moms all saltwater :) and you can see my over flow silencer in the one pic works awsome took 10 minits to make.

ok the up date on the 75g setup:) know i got the substrat in 140Ib of carib sea hawien black live. this stuff is amazing looking. looks like a valcanic base. know im trying to figer out what to paint the back. it is going to be my specialty and somthing i have never done before so it is going to cost to much and not work lmao.
im going to make a spices sps tank. consisting of lions and sps corals. the lighting is desided on 8 54w 48"t5's but what coler should i paint it. what you guys think? after i paint i will git pics up but what coler you think i should go with i was thinking of a cobalt blueish black but am not to shour if the lack of coler reflection will make the corels look bad what you guys think?
