damsel acting like clownfish
my black damsel is swimming in lt anemone just like a clown would is this normal? it dosent seem like the anemone is stinging him at all. the damsel is just chillin like a villan. acting just like a clown im confused, shouldnt he b food?

as a rule yes he should be food - - -but also clowns are a member of the damsel family so although not very often it is possable for a damsel to host ..................................pretty cool deal man, lol

domino damsel - - -definatley get pic - -is the clown hosting the nem? or just the dam???? thats funny ...........just be prepared to find him ending up food though {sorry don't mean to sound somber on ya}

i don't care if he ends up food. i love all my fish but he was only 2.99 so if he comes up missing ill be alright. only the damsel is staying in the anemone that clown plus the skunk clown don't even go near him. ill try to get a pic of this soon.

domino damsels always host in nems and other corals...
at my office tank we have a GBTA and two long tentacle plate corals... the maroon clown doesn't let the domino get near the BTA, so he has to host in the place corals... it's funny... but yes they have to host in nems just like the clowns... there are also a couple of other damsels that host in nems/corals...
