i found a site that sells them for cheap, and they look pertty cool. anyone have any luck keeping them before?

They must be low maintance, cuz I saw one at my local chain pet market, and the star was alive for 2 month when someone bought him.

from what ive read, the eat phyto just like corals...but ive seen something like them on discovery channel, and they ate coral...sdo idk. fnd them on sealifeinc.net. they are nder the starfish section. tell me what you think

theres some info. They just eat plankton like you said. They are in the same genus as the serpent star. If you want to buy one........theres one for 12 bucks from taveneir florida........right in the Florida keys about three islands in. Its pretty nice living 6 hours away. :)

I would for sure. Thats an amazing creature! I heard it comes out at night more than anything........but if you have a nice set of moonlights....thats even better! My serpent star is eating the poop outta my tank now! WOOO!!! :) that makes me smile hes keeping my tank nice and clean. :)
