feeding question
i just got my first corals today. a kenya tree, some neon green polyps, and a purple and green mushroom. i also bought some marine snow. my question is....how and when do i feed them?

Congrats, this is where you will find your self going to AA.

I just feed my corals once a week. Turn off sump, pumps, skimmers etc, and just leave a power head on for flow. tip some in and leave for half hour or so to let it get round the tank, spot feeding some corals sometimes helps the lazy buggers get what they need.
Then once done just turn it all back on.

Yeah well mine do most of the feeding shit them selves hey. Most corals from what i know get their food from whats in the water phytoplankton I think thats what its called.

Yah pretty much. I feed my bubble coral and palys EVERY sunday.......right before my water change. That way any excess food can be sucked up. I dose phyto twice a week. everything seems happy with that. The pod population LOVES it for sure. And I have little featherdusters ALL OVER my back wall.
