Hey boys! Wow, a bunch of youngins here huh? Except you Boss LOL
How about lets tell a little about yourselves?
I am Cathy, 45. I have been a single mom since my kids were little bitty. My son is now 26 and my daughter is 21. Yes guys, I too have a very beautiful daughter and she IS legal LOL. And if your nice to me a MAY show her off :-)
I have lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado almost my entire life. I work in my church book store to pay for my fish obsession and my other hobby's. Right now both my kids are home with me between their world wide adventures. My son goes to Thailand next month, my daughter just got back from a summer in the Alaskan wilderness. I usually live alone, but my home is always open for my kids.
When the kids were little we had a couple 10 gallon tanks. My daughters was hideous! It had pink rock, pink and purple castles and any fish she could find that was "pretty". She also had the Little mermaid in it. LOL My son's tank was much better, dark substrate, skulls, a bridge, frogs, loaches, and any ugly fish he could find. A year and a half ago I mentioned to my son I would like to get another tank, make it a natural "Adult" tank. He went to his storage, got his 20 gallon tank, bought me a new filter and said "here ya go mom"! So, the bug bit, started with the 20 community, had platty babies so HAD to buy a 10 gallon ;-) Then a few months ago talked my sister into giving me a 30 gallon setup she had empty for 10 years. Now its filled with African Mbuna. I still have an empty 30 gallon I want to get parts for (just the tank) and set that up for my community fish, soon. Gotta figure out where I could put it, my small home is full! The 10 gallon now has Eletric Yellow fry and some guppy fry too. Funny to see them together! I will move the guppy fry to the community when they are big enough so my angel can't eat them. I kept 2 and they came out real pretty!
So that is who I am. I guess its my nick name DizzCat but people always assume I am a "he".
