tell me if this makes sense...
my longnose butterfly destroyed a whole bunch of these aiptasia in my tank, which is good. but he doesnt eat my condylactus anemone. has anyone else observed these fish exibiting similar behavior?

i dunno, ive read that they eat anemones. and if he ate the condy i wouldnt mind...that thing is a pain in the ass...

Aiptasia Anemone's and Longnose Butterfly Fish are indigenous to the same areas, or major geographical ocean areas... making the Aiptasia Anemone part of his diet in nature. For the Condylactus Anemone.. he has an Arsenal of toxic substances that the Butterfly can not digest, however other fish can like some species of triggerfish. It is interesting how these animals know this...but they do!
