K.I.S.S - - - start wth carbon, ceramic rings {i use ehiem mech} and some form of a sponge - - thats all i have in my tank filtration, lots of movement on the live rock from powerheads and I avoid any chemicals and "miracle" treatments at all costs...............that works for me, others use different methods that work well for them
kiss = keep it simple stupid, just in case you didn't know, lol i wasn't trying to pick you up .....LMAO

haha I did it.....oops. But boss pretty much said it, keep it simple carbon....and if you can run smaller bags of carbon or replace small amounts at a time so they dont just remove ALL of your iodine and other trace elements. Carbon is great stuff, but you have to use it in moderation. Sponges are great too, just clean them out and re use. :) But seariously....what kinda car. :)
