i don't like the newer ones at all............the caymen is ok and the boxter has a lot of potential..........and for a grocery go getter you can't beat the Ceyanne all "S" models of course - - -but the holy grail 911 hasn't been the same since the early 90's IMO


the octopus skimmers are massive but look like they should be good units - i've never seen one in action

okay... i went to an LFS today and i checked out the prizm skimmer... IMO... it looks like it is made of flimsy breakable plastic... really flimsy and i dunno... compared to my aqua c remora, it feels like jebo makes it... lol...

and i like the way the remora works... it doesn't use power, it uses technique...

the site says that it pulls out more skimmate than any other skimmer using the same powerhead... true story... i dont remember where i read it... but like someone else said in here... set it and forget it...

i like my prizm , but will agree that it looks pretty light duty compared to the aquaC - -ive never use the Aqua so i can't say it's good or bad, but my prizm has treated me well - - - -i do wish the surface skimmer attachment worked better - - -i probably wouldn't use it on anything other than a strictly FOWLR tank where as the AquaC might do better as a cross over skimmer ........................
