Yup, ten percent weekly water changes is ideal. Get yourself a 20G Rubbermaid (not Sterlite) tub at Home Depot or Wally World to put in 10 gallons of RO/DI water and use a Mag 7 or similar pump to circulate and mix the water after you add the preferred salt mix. (I use Reef Crystals and add 3 pounds 5 ounces to get specific gravity 1.026 or 35ppt) You need to circulate that mix several hours before adding to your tank - preferably let it rest overnight and then mix it again to oxygenate it just before adding to your tank. If you put 10G in, first take 10G out to maintain balance in your water. Make sure you top off water that evaporates with RO/DI - not saltwater, or your tank will become like the Dead Sea in a short period of time...
