why not just put a seperate valve on the input side that i can hook the airline tube to for the CO2 and it will just loop through the canister. I am thinking of doing a bed filter so it might work even better than a regular canister filter.

just let the bubbles hit the intake part of the powerhead... the bubbles will get chopped up by the propellar blades and be despersed into the canister filter as micro bubbles...

However you do it the co2 doesn't come out that fast so my Rena canister doesn't lose prime.
Co2 will really drop the pH fast, so expect this. I don't remember the formula for using pH and kH, but this is very usefull to know.

Maybe when you get yours all up and running it'll encourage me to hook mine back up. Like I said, the co2 kept rotting away the plastic on the water jug caps. I have to find another container and cap. I'm lazy
For years I grew plants just fine without co2 and expensive lights. As soon as I upgraded it became complicated. I'd like to hear about how your dwarf hairgrass id growing like a feild, or how the baby tears are growing like a carpet.
Maybe that will get me back into it.
