mantis shrimp
i know most people regard them as pests. why is this? i think i found a small one living in a hole in a peice of liverock i bought. it is definately some sort of greenish blue curstacean that is very fast. too quick for me to get a good pic

i honestly cant get a solid look at it, but it is blueish green...i think there may be some green too...but im not sure

There is a guy on reefcentral that could Identify it for you. The mantis can break glass and bust your fingers so watch what you do. But the shrimp would have to be of some larger size to do this( like the ones on YouTube). Good luck
