Unless there are deep pits and cracks things could get stuck in I would be happy with a light bleach scrub and lots of good rinsing.

the word bleach makes me VERY nervous when pertaining to my tank.....lol

there are no pits or crevasses in the rocks they are pretty much polished

I'd just scrub them with a diluted sish detergent and rinse as you would when washing dishes.
