Moss on live rock?
Hey i have some moss (hair like) coating the outide of some of my live rock...is this good? bad?

its hair algae. its just a nusiance. i know lettuce nudibrachs eat it. and i think lawnmower blennies do to. it could be a result from lots of light and nitrates.

algae hermit crabs like it too if its not out of control - - -they are small and cheap and pretty cool to watch, you can see exactly where they've been as they clean across the rock - - i have 7 of the lil fellas in a 20 and could probably use a few more
Blennies are awsome little fish ....but after they eat all the hair algae you need to give them a veggie diet of some sort or they can starve
